We provide resources on a range of road safety materials for all ages and types of road users. Additionally, we host a practice driving theory test for those who are preparing for their test.

”The Safe System Approach is a road safety strategy that aims to eliminate road deaths and serious injuries by creating a road transport system that is forgiving of human error. A: To obtain a driving licence, you must first pass a theory test, followed by a practical driving test. Learner drivers must hold a valid provisional licence and be supervised by a fully licensed driver. More information can be found here:

A: To obtain a provisional motorbike/ moped licence, you must pass Compulsory basic training (CBT) once completed you may legally ride your motorbike/ moped depending on what cc engine you took the test for. You must also ride using a ‘L’ plate and cannot take a passenger until you have a full licence. To get a full licence, you must pass both a driving theory test and a practical driving test. You must attempt a theory test before your provisional licence expires or you may not be unable to renew it for one year.
A: 17 years of age
A: 16 years of age to ride a moped (up to 50cc)
17 years of age to ride a light motorcycle (50cc to 125cc)
18 years of age to ride a heavy motorcycle (125cc+)
A: Children must normally use a child car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135 centimetres tall, whichever comes first. Children over 12 or more than 135cm tall must wear a seat belt. You can choose a child car seat based on your child’s height or weight.
